Stop by West Hills Products on any given day and you are likely to see the owner there, unloading lumber deliveries with the forklift, hand selecting materials for use in the construction of the sheds, or training new employees how to build the structures that they are so immensely proud of. You probably won't find her in the office, unless it happens to be a day when she brings her ten year old twin sons to work! Colleen took over West Hills Products in 1991, having worked for the founder, her father, since 1984, and having been the Shop Forewoman since 1987. Her dad started the business in 1969, in the family garage in South Huntington, recognizing the need for quality built, affordable storage sheds that were at the same time, attractive. Although the business has expanded considerably since then, moving in 1972 to a factory in Huntington Station, Colleen has maintained the attention to detail, a record of service and a profound sense of pride in the manufacture of units originally designed by her father.
