Our larger Rough-Sawn Pine/Gable Roof models (size 10' x 16'
and up) can be adapted very easily for use as a one car
garage.
 | First we
increase the wall height by 2'. This gives you a height
of 8'6" at the side wall and 10' 8" at the peak
of the roof. The additional headroom is necessary to
accommodate an overhead garage door.

| Second,
we increase the thickness of the Pressure Treated CCA.40
floor to 1". In most cases it is not necessary to
install the garage on a slab as the floor lumber is
guaranteed for 40 years in ground contact.

Installation of the garage is included in the price below,
assuming that the ground where it is to be installed is BUBBLE
LEVEL. Ground should be checked with a level and graded
accordingly. It may be necessary to have fill added or a slab
poured if there is a significant slope to the area.
Price includes a finished opening for a standard garage door,
7' high and 8' wide. Garage door not included.
