Can West Hills Sheds and
Cabanas remove my old shed for me?
Yes! We are happy to accommodate our customers who
need an old shed removed prior to the installation of a new
West Hills shed. However, if you require our shed removal
service we need to know at the time you place your order.
This allows us to schedule the job properly, allowing
sufficient time for the shed removal.
What will it cost to
remove my old shed?
We charge $75 per hour for shed removal. The amount
of time necessary will be determined by the condition of the
old shed, what material it was constructed of, and whether
you require us to move the debris to the curb for pick-up.
Generally it is more costly to remove a wood shed than a
metal one.
Will West Hills take the
old shed to the dump for me?
NO. It will be necessary for you to arrange for the
removal from your property.
What are my options for
removal from the property?
- Call your town to find out about curbside pick-up.
They may have restrictions regarding the size and weight
of the pieces. They may request that pieces be tied
together. It is the homeowners responsibility to inform
us in advance of the towns requirements.
- Check your local Pennysaver for a handyman willing
to cart to the dump.
- Arrange in advance for a dumpster on site. This
option is strongly recommended for old wood sheds. Old
wood sheds constructed of fiberboard or plywood often
splinter and fall apart upon disassembly, unlike metal
sheds which can be cut very cleanly into pieces. West
Hills can orchestrate the delivery and pick-up of a 5-10
yard dumpster, depending on the size of the old shed.
